Kalosian Guards

Ahhhhh! After 10,000 years, wave uploads a thing! It's time to write a description!

Sorry for the inactivity. I actually started to work on something for waveguide manor in February, but got distracted by everything. Including this. Meet Therodin (Thero) the chespin and Albireo (Albi) the ducklett, two of the characters from a Pokémon Y unevolved run I was doing. Yep, wave's starting yet another big project even though the others are still in their infancy. >_< This one's still in the planning stages, so it might not be starting for a while.

Anyways, these designs may not be the finalized versions as I haven't fully fleshed out their backstories yet, but I wanted to try things and see what happened. I'm satisfied with how it turned out! Originally, it was going to be all sketchy lines and semi-messy flat coloring. But I kept telling myself things like "nah, let's try it with those thick pointy lines" and "how about coloring it properly by hand" and "hmm, let's add simple shading." And after some time, it turned into this.

As for the actual in-game run, it's still ongoing; I'm currently prepping for the League. It's been a lot of fun; I always have a blast with these unevolved runs. Kalos actually feels like it has a good difficulty curve. I love challenge runs in general, but these have got to be my favorite to play (especially if your favorite pokémon is on the team, as well as five others you like). Fun (or maybe unfun) fact: ducklett was the only party member I've never trained before. EDIT: Finished the night of April 6, 2017!

Also, I'm torn between revealing the other four party members in similar pictures or keeping them secret until they appear in the story. I'm slightly leaning towards revealing them so that I can have initial designs ready before the actual thing. I decided to draw them.
